Description

Winner of Interior Design magazine’s Best of Year Award, Shuttle is a dynamic weave that celebrates the art of the loom. Its graphic forms are inspired by the boat shuttle, a weaving tool used to carry and neatly store yarn as it goes back and forth through the warp yarns on a traditional loom.

Only selected sizes on sale. Custom not included.

Materials

  • Phthalate-free TerraStrand yarns and synthetic latex; rug contains a minimum of 18% recycled content and a minimum of 8% rapidly renewable content.
  • Runner widths vary by length: the 6' runner is 2'2" wide, and the 9' runner is 2'6" wide.
  • Production tolerance allows for +/- 2'' overall.

Custom

  • All custom floor mats feature a latex backing and self-bound edges.
  • Custom mats are made with a size tolerance of +/- 1/2" in either direction, 1''.
  • Lead time for custom woven floor mats is approximately 3 weeks.
  • As with all woven textiles, slight variations in texture and pattern alignment may occur. For seamed items, patterns may not align perfectly.
  • Special shapes require a template or CAD file for production.
  • All custom orders are final sale.

  • To process your return, visit our Returns Portal. 
  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of the item’s ship date. 
  • Please note that all returns are subject to a return shipping fee. Original shipping and freight charges are non-refundable. 
  • Items must be returned in unused condition, with all original labels and/or tags attached. Items not returned in as-new, unused condition may be refused.
  • If returning a woven floor mat, please re-roll it with the woven (fabric) side facing out.
  • If returning placemats, please lay them flat.
  • Any oversized rugs that require a special shipping method will be charged a 15% return fee. To schedule an oversized rug return please submit a support request or reach out to us via email:  customerservice@chilewich.com.

Really loving my new rug

"I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered my new Chilewich rug, but it’s quickly become one of those pieces that quietly elevates the entire room. First off, the design is even better in person. The soft blue palette with those vertical, almost drip-like gradients gives it a modern, slightly artistic feel without being loud. It adds texture and movement, but still works as a neutral. Overall, this rug strikes a great balance between style and practicality. It looks like a design-forward piece, but behaves like something built for real life, which is exactly what I wanted."
