Description

Special edition. Bring boldly scaled blooms to the table all year round with Mums, a bouquet-inspired family of four round placemats that combine robust and easy-to-clean woven textiles with the vivid precision of digital printing. 

This special edition began with a visit to New York City’s Union Square Greenmarket, where our design team selected a colorful array of heirloom chrysanthemums. Back at the studio, individual blooms, including pom pom and spider mums, were photographed at close range to create floral portraits that complement one another but can also stand alone.

Cleaning

  • Cleaning is easy. Simply wipe the mat with soap and water, and allow to air dry.
  • Mats with visible food residue can be sprayed with soapy water, scrubbed with a soft-bristle brush, or soaked in soapy water and then rinsed.
  • Do not clean with alcohol-based cleaning agents, as they can break down TerraStrand yarns over time.
  • Citrus-based cleaning agents are also not recommended, as they can cause discoloration.
  • Do not wash in dishwasher or washing machine. Do not iron or dry with heat. A high-temperature sanitizer may be used up to once per week.

Storage

  • Store Chilewich placemats flat.
  • Table runners may be rolled.
  • Do not store wet or allow mats to fold or crease.
  • In case of creasing, steam using a handheld garment steamer on the lowest heat setting.

U.S. Returns:

  • To process your return, visit our Returns Portal. 
  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of the item’s ship date. 
  • Please note that all returns are subject to a return shipping fee. Original shipping and freight charges are non-refundable. 
  • Items must be returned in unused condition, with all original labels and/or tags attached. Items not returned in as-new, unused condition may be refused.
  • If returning a woven floor mat, please re-roll it with the woven (fabric) side facing out.
  • If returning placemats, please lay them flat.
  • Any oversized rugs that require a special shipping method will be charged a 15% return fee. To schedule an oversized rug return please submit a support request or reach out to us via email:  customerservice@chilewich.com.
