Rugs more than 6 ft. in width require at least one seam. Seams will be evenly spaced and run parallel to the length. We make every effort to minimize the appearance of seams, however, patterns may not align perfectly. For further information about the appearance of seams within specific dimensions, please contact Customer Service at customerservice@chilewich.com before placing your order.

"Ordered coconut, originally I was concerned the color might be dark but did not have time to order samples to compare. Had a meeting with one of the staffs who is very helpful and patient. The rug is exactly what I want, modern, chic, and gorgeous. Will get one more for dinning room in the future But I do hope Cherish can improve the seam in the middle."
"Great pieces"
"These look great in our modern house."
"I finally found the perfect mat to complement my bathroom vanity and complete the look overall. i wish I bought several more."
Our woven rugs are made from phthalate-free TerraStrand® yarns with a slip-resistant synthetic latex backing. They contain at least 18% recycled content and 8% rapidly renewable content.
Most Chilewich woven rugs have slip-resistant latex backing and do not require a rug pad. On rough or textured floors, a pad can help protect the backing from abrasion.
Sweep, vacuum, or shake out loose dirt. Blot spills promptly with a damp, lint-free cloth. For persistent stains, use an appropriate spot cleaner. After cleaning, lift the rug and let both the rug and floor dry completely before putting it back.
No. Do not machine-wash or iron a Chilewich woven rug. For a deeper clean, we recommend hot-water extraction with mechanical brushing.
Yes. Chilewich woven rugs are designed for indoor or outdoor use with proper maintenance. Extended exposure to direct sunlight may cause fading over time.
Custom sizing is available for select Chilewich woven floor mats. Choose the custom option on the product page to see available dimensions and ordering details. Please note that processing time for custom orders is approximately 3 weeks and all custom items are final sale.
Chilewich woven rugs wider than 6 feet are made with seams. We work to minimize their appearance, but the pattern may not align perfectly across a seam. Contact Customer Service before ordering if seam placement or pattern alignment is important to you.
Lift and air out the rug occasionally. After cleaning, let both the rug and floor dry completely before replacing it. Avoid placing rubber objects on the rug, as rubber can discolor it. On rough or textured floors, a rug pad can help limit abrasion to the backing.
