Opera Bistro is located in St John, New Brunswick, Canada in a 1,200 sq. ft. space that serves local ingredients with international flavor. Restaurant owners, Alex and Margret Begner, recently enlisted the services of “Punch Inside” interior design firm, to complete a renovation of their restaurant. With a limited budget of $10,000 Judith Mackin, Punch Inside owner, transformed the vision of the owners into reality. Mixing handmade natural materials, with visual art from established local artists and décor from reputable designers, Judith created a warm and relaxed dining experience.
Dahlia, Faux Bois and Tuxedo Stripe placemats from Chilewich added the finishing touch to the space. The project has been chronicled on HGTV online.
